Hal Elrod is one of the most incredible & inspirational people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is one of those people who, after meeting, you simply can't get out of your head. His attitude, energy and enthusiasm simply get in and take over.

This book tells the true story of a life altering accident. The great majority of the people in this world would have given in to the trauma that Hal faced at an early age. But Hal Elrod is different. His unwavering perseverance to regain the life that he lost is nothing short of a miracle.

This past weekend Hal gave the keynote speech at an international sales training event. In his speech Hal quoted, "In every moment our life is shaped by the decisions we make." This is so true. Hal's daily decisions are the reflection of a man truly thankful to be alive, to be an inspiration, and to be the best possible version of oneself.

Please read this book, and give another copy to someone you love and appreciate.

An Amazing story of HOW NOT TO LET ANYTHING STAND IN YOUR WAY no matter what the odds! Hal inspires us to "Love the life you live while creating the life of your DREAMS!!!" This book is a must for any collection!

This is not a particularly well-written or earth shaking book, so I'm not sure why I found it so compelling and inspiring. I think it is because it is so obviously honest and because it shows a regular Joe applying success principles to achieve goals. If you have read lots of self-help books (like Brian Tracy) this book is great because it shows it all in action.

This guy is not trying to impress-- he is himself and that is the main selling point. I've read lots of books in this self-help, goal setting category and I think this is easily in the top five.

Wow! Hal overcame a huge life obstacle and couldn't have done it any better. So many people don't realize that they can move beyond a tragedy. Maya Angelou once said, "I can be changed by what happens to me. I refuse to be reduced by it." Hal is a perfect example of someone who rose above his setbacks and made himself even stronger.

As a crash survivor myself, his words were absolutely inspiring. I've never been able to connect with someone's story so well. In fact, even with my terrible attention span, I managed to read the entire book in one sitting. His book has really inspired me to get my own story out there. I recommend that everyone read Hal's book because his story is so valuable to everyone's life. It makes no sense to dwell on the negative when happiness is so peaceful.

I have just finished reading your book, Taking life head on, for the first time, and my life will never be the same again. Hi, my name is Kyle Lambert, and I also work with Vector Marketing. I got stated this year in February and am a Field Sales Manager in Las Cruces New Mexico. Also I have been an assistant manager three months after I started. Your book, your words, and your actions have deeply moved me. I am a type of person that is also a self motivator, and am pretty good at reading the good side of life. I had never heard of your story before your book, and actually got it as a gift from my district manager. From the second I opened to the first page, I could not set it down. I know you probably here this from everyone, but I want to make mine special. This book helped me greatly, but has helped me more in the fact I want to be the guy that can motivate other people, and you have greatly helped! I think it is the best feeling in the world when someone thinks they will never make it, and you're the one who makes them complete their goal. I will be running my first branch office next year, and can't wait to be the one to share motivated and life changing stories! What an interesting, refreshing read! For the last 18 mos or so, it has become my lifestyle to read nothing but books on personal development, empowerment, leadership, etc., and I have read many. Started reading it on a pleasure trip to NY & didn't want to put it down! When I did, just four days later, I wanted more. Out of all the books I've read on personal development, Hal's was by far one of the most interesting, most different. His book is not your typical personal development book. It's a down-to earth autobiography of his incredible life, written with a powerful message. It's a story about not just beating the odds; it's a story about looking at adversity straight in the eye and saying, "Okay, what can I learn from this? How can I take this experience and use it to improve my life and the lives others?" It's a real-life story about giving it (whatever it happens to be) all you got and finding love, happiness and success (whatever 'success' happens to be for you) along the way. Truly inspirational. I hope he writes another - I'll be one of the first to buy and read it!

Hal has inspired my life with his "True Life Story" of creating miracles out of the chaos and struggle that life threw his way in the form of a major tragedy. He also goes beyond simple "here's my story" be inspired by it, to practical strategies for overcoming obstacles and creating miracles in our every day life!!! Both thumbs way up, and and a hearty thanks to Hal for writing this intimate look into the heart and mind of a survivor who has chosen to adopt an attitude of creativity in his desire to Take Life Head On

I used to take the small things in life for granted, but Hal's story really has changed the way I see everything. The story is about how he suffered in a horrible car accident and then miraculously managed to pickup his life and succeed, it truly is an inspiring story and I recommend it to EVERYONE. People who I have loaned my copy out to had nothing but positive things to say about it. This one definitely deserves to be in your collection; so get it, read it, and then apply it.
