About the Author
Kim Gosselin was born and raised in Michigan where she attended Central Michigan University. She began her professional writing career shortly after her two young sons were both diagnosed with chronic illnesses. Kim is extremely committed to bringing the young reader quality children's health education while raising important funds for medical research. Kim now resides, writes, and gives consultations. Kim is the recipient of the 1998 National American Lung Association Presidential Award. A great book for helping young children learn about epilepsy,

Last year in first grade, we used this book given to us by our Neurologist to teach my daughter and her class about her newly diagnosed seizures. It was most helpful and well received by all. I highly recommend this book.

I think the price was too high for the information that the book offered. It was a short book for $9.95 plus shipping, so I feel like I didn't get my money's worth. I bought the book to share with my daughters classmates at school & felt it was made for younger children, maybe 1st or 2nd grade students. My daughter has a seizure disorder & is in 3rd grade. Hope this helps

This was an excellent book for my 7 year old daughter, I lent it to her Grade 2 teacher to read to the class which gave the kids a better understanding of what she goes through on a day to day basis, it was also very comforting for me to know that there are books out there made for young children, she was able to read it herself and understand that she is not alone. Brilliant!!!!!
