What a great book! The edition with Spanish translations is perfect. It is called Preparing for the TOEFL Writing Test by the same author. It gave me all kinds of help in my own language, like having a bilingual teacher telling me HOW to write in English and explaining the grammar in the sentence correction questions. Bueno!!! I think there is an edition with French and Arabic translations and explanations, too.

All my questions were answered in this book. Most books either give the grammar or the essays. This book has it all. I scored a 6 on the essay. And it is thanks to following the advice in the book.

Someone spent a lot of time on this book. I have not found another book that helps as much-and I have spent lots of money. It is especially easy to follow. What is the font this other guy talks about? I looked at the content in the book.

I found this book super helpful in guiding my writing. It taught me how to write many different patterns and all about grammar.

This book helped me the most and I bought many study aids. I could go all through the grammar or directly to the writing section. That was what I needed-the flexibility to learn what I need.

I got this about 4-5 months ago and picked it up at thelast minute for a review. It helped me because it shows ways to respond well. I didnt know the grammar like I should and this helped me so very much!

This is totally complete-it has grammar, writing strategies, and all the extras that tell you HOW to write and WHAT to write. Any reviewer that says otherwise needs to go back and take English 1. The book is set up to go straight to the patterns, grammar, or the parts of the essays you need to know for the writing portion of the test. The font looks fine to me...I'd spend the money again for another 6.

I appreciate someone who finally invented a book that gives example essays, grammar and exercises. I could also look at the outlines with the different styles of where to put things. That helped a lot. Thanks for the help. It is worth all the price.

This book is the best one that I have seen. It gave me all of the different methods to write essays. The essays always require a way to answer, and this gives it. Plus, it gave me all the answers about grammar. I rate it a 10.

The book also provides hundreds of grammar exercises with complete explanations.

Only an illiterate couldn't understand it.
