Former Army Warrant Officer Corrine Sweetwater has not adjusted to life as a civilian after eight years active duty. She runs the kitchen of her family's Beat Creek Guest Ranch as if she still gives orders for subordinates to obey. She has run off three dishwashers in a short time.

Professional fisherman Greg Pfitser arrives with chaotic Belle the canine and even more out of control five years old twins Annie and Ben. At the Arizona guest ranch, he hopes to bond with the kids he just met and with the mechanical engineer turned food service supervisor. However, where she believes in discipline he prefers mellow so finding a compromise seems as likely as getting the Taliban to lay down their weapons.

This is a fun endearing ranch romance although finding a middle ground between this couple is like Republicans and Democrats working together, which would mean the Revelations' End of Days has begun. The story line is lighthearted fun, as the ex soldier and the fisherman fall in love encouraged by two wild youngsters and a garbage seeking dog.

I loved this book, as a single mom there is not much spare time. So I loved that it was an easy, quick read. I also fell in love with the books about the Bear Creek Ranch. I could't put it down until the end.
Just wish there would be an easier way to find the related books, so it would make it more simple to stay i touch with the Tucker/Sweetwater clan.

A leisurely stroll through the summer life of Greg and Corinne with Ben and Annie, Greg's five year old twins. The twins raise enough mischief to disrupt not only Greg's livelihood but Corinne's kitchen manager duties as well. Greg is a sports fisherman there at the Ranch's invitation to increase business. Is there a future for Corinne the Ex-soldier and professional fisherman Greg, read and find out. I do think rather than the abrupt ending this book would have benefited from an epilogue. I am fast becoming a fan of an epilogue, it ties lose ends together and answers some questions the reader has. I am a new reader of Cathy Mcdavid books but fast becoming a fan.

This book held much less anticipation in the build-up and climax of the story line. Still very good book....worth the read in terms of completing the Bear Creek Ranch trilogy.

Enjoyable, just much easier to put down in between reading times.

This is book 3 of the great love series by this author. I have loved each book and book 4 is just as good. This series takes place in Arizona, the home state of this writer. You will not be able to put any of these books down!
