5.0 out of 5 stars tale of the bunny picnic, June 5, 2000

this is a must see for people of all ages. if you liked such masterpieces as the muppets, and fraggle rock then the muppet bunnies are for you. the cutest story line ever. little bean bunny is too smal, to be allowed to do anything and is ridiculed for believing a dog is out to spoil the bunny fun, but EVERYONE involved is in for a big surprise! it has some great catchy songs, a wonderful story line, and amazingly cute characters that it is all too easy to fall madly in love with. i have watched it since i was four, and will continue to do so. YOU MUST SEE IT!

I luckliy saw this movie when watching the Disney channel when I was like eight years old; ever since then I have been looking for this movie on video. It is a must see muppet movie one that everyone will cherish, and with Easter coming up, it would be perfect for the holidays. Henson created one of the cutest muppet charachters named Bean. Every child will fall in love with him; I know I did!

I have two children aged 9 and 13 and both have watched this video from being very small children. It is a classic and should be released in the UK for all to enjoy. We happened upon it one day and taped on our home video. Since then it has been watched so many times that it is worn out and I am trying to get another copy of it. We will keep it forever. This is a must for all families.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Classic!, August 10, 2005
I am currently 17 years old and I remember when I was just a toddler Tale of the Bunny Picnic was part of my everyday activities! I watched it everyday! Now, at 17, I suddenly remembered it and wished that I could see it again so I set out to find it and I did, on amazon. You have got to check this out. Every little girl and boy needs a copy!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Tale of the Bunny Picnic, May 29, 2005
This review is from: The Tale of the Bunny Picnic [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This wonderful Henson movie came out when my children were young; they are both grown and married. My oldest now has a newborn son and I would LOVE to be able to find this on DVD and/or VHS for him. Be-Bop-A-Loo-Wop-Bop was their favorite character... and the DAWWWG was just like our family dog, so he is forever our friend! If you have not seen this, you are missing the magic in your heart! It is simply the best.

My mother taped this movie for me from TV when I was a child, and I watched the tape so many times, it literally wore out and I couldn't watch it any more! I'm so glad I finally found it and I can't wait to own it again! Hop hop hop!

5.0 out of 5 stars My daughter's favorite video as a pre-schooler!!!!, April 2, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tale of the Bunny Picnic [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This cassette could always reduce my daughter to hysterical laughter when she was little, especially when the farmer would get wind of the bunnies and start sneezing! When he sneezes so hard his button shoots off his pants (which fall down) she would be absolutely transported!!!

Compared to the all the animated stuff for kids today, these puppet stories already feel almost 'slow and rustic'. Jim Hensen's puppets brought the charm of a traditional form of entertainment up to date for children without losing the classic appeal which allowed his creations to be enjoyed by several generations together in one room. No one has yet come close to taking his place in the world of children's entertainment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Innocent and Charming, February 12, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tale of the Bunny Picnic [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I saw this video when it originally aired and am purchasing a new copy for a toddler as a gift. Tale of the Bunny Picnic is a tender rendition of the "bratty little brother" who shows himself to be more than he appears, that the little guy can make it to the top if he has a pure heart and isn't afraid of other peoples' opinions. Bean is my favorite Jim Henson character and it reinforces my belief that there is more good than bad in this world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Kids, June 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tale of the Bunny Picnic [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I first saw this movie on HBO years ago. It was so cute and the songs were great. I've been wanting to get a copy of this movie.. This is a "must see" movie if you are into children movies that are touching. It is up there with a Disney cartoon classic, though these are MUPPETS not cartoons.
