We bought this game for our 11 yr. old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! We would highly recommend this game as an addition to your collection.

this was a christmas gift for my grandaugther,she is very happy with the game and think i'm the greatest grandad in the world,so that's enoungh for me to give it a high rating.

My son is 6 years old and new to non learning video games so this is one of his favorite games. Not too hard but just hard enough and none of the harsh content of some games. Two thumbs up!

My 8 year old daughter had lots of fun playing this, and I played it too and found it fun. But, it's a short game. I completed it in about two hours. So, it's pretty expensive for two hours of game play (although it took the 8 year old about 6 hours). I don't see much replay value either.

This is my review on The Tale of Despereaux - ds game.

To be quite frank I love mideval anything in general but with this game I was hesitant of buying intil I saw the movie The Tale of Despereaux - dvd first luckily for me my local lbrary had the movie so first I rented the movie watched it and was really impressed so then I called up GameStop & asked if they had the ds game The Tale Of Despereaux - used luckily they did. So I went in bought the game & am having a lot of fun playing it. The game is said to have 36 levels in all but right now I'm only on level 16. This game is fun but no where near short in my opinion in length of hours or gameplay. The graphic's are superb. Defently one of the best mideval ds games I've seen around. As far as this game goes as being hard. I would say for me it is relatively hard. But so far very fun. & as to what the other reviewer said about an adult beating this game in two hours maybe an adult who doesn't have disabilities can beat it that fast but for someone like me who has autism & is also an adult. I'm sorry but I just don't play that fast in any game. I like taking my time with my games. Sorry if I affended anyone by saying that but that's just me.

Try this ds game out you'll really enjoy it if you get into mideval/reinassance games.

I played this on a friends DS not expecting much, but it was really fun. Had to pick up a copy to finish it on my own. Just bought a 3ds and not many 3ds games out, so I picked this and a few other DS games up. If your into 2.5d platform games, you'll dig this for sure.
