The Tale of Juliet is a true-to-life inspirational story. Jhet opened her heart and in so doing she gave us a glimpse into her life with the hope to touch other people's lives. The Tale of Juliet is about a courageous woman whose story reminds us of the strength of the human spirit. Reading her book evokes mixed emotions. From laughter to tears, her story inspires hope, faith and dreams. An easy and a true pleasure to read, it is a book you will be proud to pass on as gifts to those whose lives you wish to touch!

The tales of Juliet is very inspiring to me. For me, the value one can get from Jhet's personal story is more about connections and virtues.

Every immigrant would benefit from reading this book whether one came from Philippines or somewhere else in the world. I've read the book in one sitting. I simply couldn't put it down.

Jhet's story is intriguing, fun and simply real world stuff.

What amazed me most about the book was seeing the journey, and the growth along it, of Jhet. It's a real story that at times made me cry and made me laugh.

Reading the book made me realize that it doesn't matter where you start in life, but where you end up.

Coming from total poverty, Jhet could have had tons of excuses not to go for a better life. Fortunately, she believed in herself and went for her goals...one step at a time.

And what I love about this woman is that she wants the same and more for all of us!

Throughout the entire book, I felt connected with Juliet. I felt her pain. I felt her happiness. I felt her tears. I felt her worries. This book opened my eyes to realize that we only live once and we need to take advantage of every opportunity. It also showed me that anything is possible. As a young adult, I have many dreams, but also many fears of failure. After reading The Tale of Juliet, I am inspired to never give up. This book truly inspired me and touched my heart. I even had a chance to visit the Philippines, which made the book more meaningful to me. All in all, definitely a must read!
