As a Sherlock Holmes fan I wasn't sure if I'd like the angle of Sherlock Holmes actually being Charlotte Holmes. The author'sobvious knowledge of the character coupled with the ability to write in the style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, however, won me over. The story is fascinating and the fact that Charlotte Holmes can pose as a woman as well as a man allows for a whole new array of plot possibilities. Couldn't put it down and can't wait for the next one! |
