This is a beautiful book - I like the large version for very young people. I bought it for a baby shower to go with Peter Rabbit crockery. I read it again for the umpteenth time and it was as charming as ever.

It doesn't say how small this book is. Good for a child but not good as a classroom read aloud.

I downloaded this and got many pictures, but only a few paragraphs of text. I got the first page, and then a middle paragraph and some story near the end, but not a complete story. Lots of the photos though.

My grandchild loved this book and it took me back to the days when my mom read it to me.
Book was in great condition.

this small little book is the perfect gift for any child (good baby shower gift too). It's the classic tale of Peter Rabbit that every kid loves. The book is small enough to send through the mail as part of a little gift.

This book was made for people with tiny hands. Why even make a miniature book? My child puts it with her dolls so they can read while she does.

This review is for the Kindle version. The pictures are the size of postage stamps and do not enlarge, and the way they are flowed in with the text makes it impossible to get them to display at the same time as the corresponding text as you flip from page to page. My son loves the story, but the digital execution of this children's book shows a complete lack of effort and respect for the forms (meaning both illustrated children's books and ebooks).

This is definitely a case where a book printed on paper is the only way to go, unless there is some other digital publisher who cares to try - even a little bit - to execute the transition successfully. I mean this is so bad I would ask for a refund if the price wasn't too low to invest more time in it.

Edit: My son was poking at the screen as I read him this book last night and we discovered that a double-tap does actually result in the tiny images enlarging. I've upped my review to 2 stars from 1 for this reason. The images are still pretty low-resolution and it's not possible to have them display at the same time as the corresponding text in either their postage-stamp size or once enlarged, because the double-tap displays the images full-screen, overlaying the text. I'm glad to have visible images to show when reading the book, but anyone who has ever read to a child knows that the images are intended to be displayed WHILE the book is read, and not in periodic intervals that break the flow of the story.
