Book Description

Demon Slayers February 2010
The latest from New York Times bestselling author, Angie Fox:

Last month, I was a single preschool teacher whose greatest thrill consisted of color-coding my lesson plans. That was before I learned I was a slayer. Now, it's up to me to face curse-hurling imps, vengeful demons, and any other supernatural uglies that crop up. And, to top it off, a hunk of a shape-shifting griffin has invited me to Greece to meet his family.

But it's not all sun, sand, and ouzo. Someone has created a dark-magic version of me with my powers and my knowledge--and it wants to kill me and everyone I know. Of course, this evil twin doesn't have Grandma's gang of biker witches, a talking Jack Russell terrier, or an eccentric necromancer on its side. In the ultimate showdown for survival, may the best demon slayer win.

About the Author

Angie Fox is the New York Times bestselling author of The Accidental Demon Slayer Growing up, Angie Fox used to keep a flashlight in her bookcase for emergency situations when she had to read "just one more chapter" after lights out. She even tried her hand at writing--an illustrated book about a dog that ate his family's Thanksgiving turkey. Angie kept writing and eventually graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Missouri. She worked briefly in television news before she realized it was more fun to make up her own facts. Thus, a career in advertising was born. Angie became a copywriter--a job she loved, and still does. She squeezes in freelance advertising jobs between her fiction projects. Angie can be reached at www.angiefox.com --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars action filled humorus ride to meet the family..., February 7, 2010

This review is from: A Tale of Two Demon Slayers (Mass Market Paperback)
A Tale of Two Demon Slayers is the 3rd book in the Demon Sayer series by Angie Fox. I absolutely fell in love with Lizzie, her dog Pirate, Lizzie's very hot boyfriend Dimitri and her biker witch Grandma during the first 2 books.

In this 3rd installment of the series, we get to know more about Dimitri and his family. This book introduces a whole new set of characters that make up for a whirlwind ride. We get to meet Dimitri's sisters Diana and Dyonne, friends of his family Amara and Talos (who are sworn to protect them), and a formal instructor to train Lizzie (finally). In this book Lizzie is looking forward to some downtime with Dimitri but as things go it is anything but restful and relaxing.

I enjoyed this book greatly as an addition to the series and was sad when it ended all to quickly (read it in a day). As usual there is a lot of humor, action and romance throughout the book. I think the humor is one of my favorite part of the series. I also really like Lizzie, she is a very real character who is easy to relate to with her quirky tendencies (she may be slightly OCD). I am looking forward to the next book in the series, really hoping it won't be a super long time!

Angie Fox just keeps getting better. I love the way Lizzie is learning, but my all time favorites are the Red Skulls. Can't wait for book number 4!!!!!!
