This is a classic and so cool to have found, fascinating listening please. Really cool to hear a young Arlo telling stories and singin tunes. And how fascinating to hear this alternative Alice's Restaurant version. Never realized he had attempted to make it a song where he completely changed the story. Didn't work that way i reckon but how cool to hear him attempt to re-write the story and use the song with a different story. It's very historic in so many ways. The Pickle story is cool as well. Would be neat if there was more in the package, as in where is this show from, we kinda know it is east coast but that's all. Also, maybe Arlo could of written a few thoughts on how he feels about the cd into the package. In any case, totally worth getting, enjoy.

Love Arlo Guthrie. My kids don't all get it, but a couple do. Alice's restaurant has always been a Thanksgiving favorite with us.
