I haven't read any other translations of Firduasi's ancient tales (there seem to be quite a few others available here on Amazon), but this is an amazing read that I would recommend to both adults and children. The stories are fantastical, epic, and meaningful. However it was translated, this version is easy to read but not simplistic. Highly recommended.
