5.0 out of 5 stars Jester Brings The Rock Back To Life, September 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Tales From The Boogieman (Audio CD)
If you like bands like Firehouse, Def Leppard, Warrant, Slaughter, etc you will LOVE both the Jester CDs! They both have a great mix of well written rockin tunes as well power ballads. Both BOOGIEMAN and DIGITALIA are equally good! Being from the NJ area I get to see the band live several times a year and trust me it is well spent money! These guys rock just as much live as they do on disc! I've been with this band for a few years now and trust me they are going places once this music comes back to life...and Jester sure is bringing it back! WITH A VENGEANCE

4.0 out of 5 stars Metal Edge was right, 80s rock just doesn't get better., August 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Tales From The Boogieman (Audio CD)
Ever wonder what a new 80s band would sound like in the 90s? Wonder no more, as Jester becomes the bravest band in the world to base a career on the likes of music that has been shunned by Generation X since the early 90s. "Tales From the Boogieman" can't be branded anything but pure rock. Great hooks, catchy tunes, and razor sharp ballads will take you back to the days when rock rolled, while reintroducing a genre that should never have died.

5.0 out of 5 stars Who said rock n'roll was dead?, August 14, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Tales From The Boogieman (Audio CD)
If you grew up on bands like Firehouse, Slaughter, etc. you will love this album. It is hard rock at its finest, a perfect blend of melodic rockers and mellow ballads. If this band came out in the 80's they would have easily achieved a multi-platinum status. This album is just too good to put in words; you have to hear it to believe it.
