Now right off the bat let's get the things that I know people will have a problem w/. Basically the size of these books and the artwork in one of two of the stories. Let me just say THAT DOESN'T BUG ME IN THE LEAST! When I first picked up one of these I really thought the artwork in one of the...

Tales from the Crypt is back and just as good. Thank you Papercutz!

Now right off the bat let's get the things that I know people will have a problem w/. Basically the size of these books and the artwork in one of two of the stories. Let me just say THAT DOESN'T BUG ME IN THE LEAST! When I first picked up one of these I really thought the artwork in one of the stories would bug. But it didn't. WHY? Cause the stories are wonderfully dark and remind me a lot of the Originals Tales from the Crypt from EC back in the '50s.

The thing I was REALLY impressed w/ was the fact that even though these stories are in modern times they don't come off as modern. I know that must sound weird to you, but I notice that when a great thing from the past is brought back it usually loses something -- It doesn't feel like what you fell in love w/. I didn't get that here!

The Crypt-keeper, The Old Witch and the Vault-Keeper are back!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad?, October 29, 2010

In color. Small books. O.k. stories. Good for kids. Took points off for bad bindings. Glue was not holding the spine together. No real effort to continue the classic tradition of E.C.
