5.0 out of 5 stars Great Metal Album
I saw this in a pawn shop for 3 dollars and I took a look at it. I was blown away by the great bands that are on this CD. Every song on this CD is well worth listening to and I would gladly pay 15 bucks for this album new. I mean who couldn't love an album that has Pantera, Megadeth, Rollins Band, Sepultura and Filter all in one? This is just a great offereing and if...

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good.
The best song on this album is "Hey Man Nice Shot" by Filter. The rest of the album is pretty good too (even though I'm not really into that sort of music).

This is just a great offereing and if you like Rollins it features one of their best songs to date. If you love metal, this is a great sampler album for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great soundtrack, August 18, 2001
This review is from: Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
It's not every day you find a soundtrack with a lot of great songs like this. The unreleased songs from Megadeth, and Machine Head are fantastic and are some of the best I've heard from the respective bands. Hearing Pantera's classic "Cemetery Gates" and other great songs from Sepultura, Rollins Band, Biohazard, and Filter (when they were good) make this a great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Is A Nice Blend of Music, August 3, 2005
This review is from: Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This is a nice blend of music, keeping it on the heavy side for the most part. You don't have to see the movie to like the soundtrack, although I did. You have some Pantera, you have some Filter, some Megadeth and some Rollins Band, and more. Happy to have it in my collection.

this soundtrack's for you. With the likes of Pantera,Ministry,Rollins Band,Megadeth and Filter, you can't go wrong.Track 9 is the best song on the CD and by Filter. Also check out the soundtrack to The Crow if you love this kind of music.

4.0 out of 5 stars 'Tales From The Crypt:Demon Knight'-Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'(Atlantic), August 1, 2005
This review is from: Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
Now here's a movie soundtrack featuring some heavy-duty stalwarts such as Biohazard,Megadeth,Sepultura,Ministry,The Melvins among others.Better cuts include the Pantera classic "Cemetery Gates"(the disc's sole previously released track),Ministry's "Tonight We Murder",Rollins Band with "Fall Guy" and The Melvin's "Instant Larry".The hard&heavy rap tune "1-800-Suicide" by Gravediggaz is tolerable.Remember, this is coming from someone who usually cannot stand rap.A decent soundtrack CD to have a copy of.

I love this soundtrack. I had it years ago, but it had gotten stolen from an old apartment.

If you are looking for some good ol' hard rock and want it balanced perfectly then this is for you. I listened to it on a drive through the desert in Arizona and it was perfect for driving. Even the rap song on the end was great.

I got this on cassette tape when it 1st came out. Awesome tracks, every song is great and pretty much on the heavy metal side. Megadeth, Ministry and Rollins Band to name some. All I can say is I'm glad I finally got it on CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars great heavy soundtrack, September 6, 2004
This review is from: Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
this is one of the best heavy metal sountracks out there. this has one of the best songs ever released by pantera entitled cemetary gates(track 1). diedems from megadeath(track 4) was a great song, but the highlights where hey man, nice shot by filter(track 9) and 1-800-suicide by the gravediggaz(track 10). i was surprised to see a rap song on a primarily heavy metal soundtrack, but this one fit. if you liked the spawn soundtrack, crow soundtrack, and valentine soundtrack, then you will like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars a really good soundtrack, May 31, 2001
This review is from: Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
well this is possibly one of the best soundtracks released. just take the names: ministry, pantera, machine head, rollins band, biohazard, melvins, sepultura, filter, megadeth... almost all of these great songs are previously unreleased (except: "cemetary gates" by pantera & "hey man nice shot" by filter) if you like one of these bands i strongly suggest to buy this soundtrack, just because of the unreleased material. while most b-sides are well, not as good as album material, this doesn't fit the songs on here. while ministry's "tonight we murder" seems a bit monoton, songs like "my misery" (machine head), "instant larry" (melvins), "fall guy" (rollins), "beaten" (biohazard) are really very good songs
