Jim Weiss is one of my favorite storytellers (my family loves Odds Bodkin, too). Jim is great at changing his voice to become different characters. This collection was an all-time family favorite which I have also purchased for my school. Even though we listened to it in the car several years ago with our now-grown children, everyone in the family still remembers these stories. My daughter used to like us to quiz her on all the different Jim Weiss stories! Lines from them have become "inside jokes" that we still refer to! Kids can learn a great deal, improve their vocabulary, but MOST of all they can have a lot of fun (and grown ups can, too)!!!
