I came to this cd in a roundabout way -- by listening to the NPR series "More Yiddish Short Stories"... I was focused on the stories, but more and more, my curiosity was piqued by the incidental music. When I learned that there was a separate cd issued that was just this music, I bought it. The tunes are haunting and memorable. I keep it in my car and play it constantly... now I need another copy for the house...
