I saw these figures at Wal-mart on clearance ($3/set) and knew my kids would love them. I also wanted to use them to teach our children Bible stories since I've used figurines in the past to teach them Biblical truths and they learn the story so well and can even act it out.

For the potential and biblical impact you can make in your child's life from these toys, I'd give them 5-stars.

However, I was very disappointed with the toys themselves. Some of the figurines, especially the ones that only have two little feet to support them do NOT stand up by themselves. They look like they should, but they fall right over. Looks like a very poor job of engineering these toys to balance. My son (3yrs Old) was very frustrated that he couldn't set the pieces out and have them just stand there.

I had to get out the glue gun and give some of the characters high heels to keep them standing, but even then their feet are so small they are easily knocked over. If your kids are like mine, they'll roll out the (wrinkly) playmat and try to place the characters on it, but most will tip right over.

The Mitzvah Kinder Pesach set doesn't seem to be available this year. Boruch Hashem we have many grandchildren and our seder is geared towards them. I am always looking for new items to attract their attention and stimulate questions. The Goofy looking Pharoh, the locust covering the plant and the adorable Moshe I'm sure will thrill the kids. I don't know why Pharaoh has his head covered and Moshe doesn't. I realize this is made by a Christian company but, give me a break ! Moshe without his head covered ???.
I'm giving it 4 not 5 stars because I have to paint a Yarmulkah on him....

We were disappointed in the quality of the paint job on this toy. Didn't look much like what is pictured here... Moses' eyes had these huge white spots in the middle of his pupils that made him look very scary. There were parts of the toys that were not painted (Moses' under layer appeared to be the same tone as his skin - as if they forgot to paint it?) Pharoh looked much cheaper in person, too. Sadly, we returned this item... I say sadly, because we were very excited to find Bible story figures at all...

The Sunday school children enjoy playing with it. They are washable and peak an interest in the bible story. They are a great teaching tool.
