First off, let me start by saying that if you're familiar with Garnier's work, please don't hesitate, go ahead and buy it.You will instantly recognize his style that you've come and loved over the years, but he maintains to sound fresh with every release, as well on this.... Laurent Garnier is globally known to sweep people off their feet with his phenomenal live performances, but in my opinion his amazing talent really comes to show on the various studio albums he has released throughout the years. Especially Unreasonable Behaviour, if you're into Garnier's work, and you don't own that album, shame on you..... no, really.... shame on you... Anyways, I was amazed that no one wrote a review for Tales of a Kleptomanic yet so I kind of felt obligated to do so... Because this is one heck of an Album, PERIOD... Variety is the spice of life here, you'll find a variety of genres on here, from blazing hard techno, infused with hip-hop, to acid-jazz, as well as dub in the form of a collaberation with Winston Mc Anuff, all mixed to a terribly terrific musical experience.... Album Highlights: Gnanmankoudji (Horny Monster Mix) Desirless Freeverse Part 2 Back To My Roots Laurent Garnier truly is THE Techno Pioneer... GreetZ from The Netherlands.... |
