About the Author

Wajikra, a pseudonym explained in the book, is a Holocaust survivor from the Netherlands. He is the sole survivor of his immediate family, from whom he was separated when he was eleven. He is now a retired University professor and lives with his wife, Rose, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
