About the Author

Don "Fox" Bryant was a member of the University of Nebraska's athletic staff for nearly 35 years, serving as Cornhuskers sports information director for 31 years. He was the sports editor for the Lincoln Star for 10 years prior to that. No one has been more of an eyewitness to Husker football history than has Bryant.

The former Sports Information Director, Mr. Don Bryant, gives the reader an unique insite into the storied backround concerning the coaching staff, the players and the games in which they participated.

This should be must reading for any Nebraska Football Fan. Many stories that are sometimes thought of as myths, or stories that can grow into myths.
