hilarious look at the world through the eyes of children,
By A Customer
This review is from: Tales for the Perfect Child (Beech Tree Chapter Books) (Paperback)
Our entire family has delighted in this humorous look at the world through the eyes of Florence's children. Her witty tales made us literally laugh out loud. Our twin daughters saw a little of themselves in each of her richly drawn characters.Forence's insights are obviously gleaned from the experiences of a parent and a keen observation of the tactics that children employ to move mountains of obstacles to their own will. This little book will always be one of our favorites .

Why teach your strong minded child new tricks? They will love this book. Wry funny sarcastic, all the things our darlings excel at, heroes and heroines after their own hearts. For the 3- 5 crowd. And best of all, the strong minded parents will love to read it too.

A silly book that can be used as an easy-read for upper elem,
By A Customer
This review is from: Tales for the Perfect Child (Beech Tree Chapter Books) (Paperback)
This is a silly book that can be used as an easy-read for upper elementary students who have difficulty reading. The stories are short and conquerable for children who can read at about a thrid grade level. The content of the stories are not damaging to a child's understanding of behavior and they will not serve as a poor model for behavior (as some extreme reviews have suggested) - they are just silly and fun...and suitable to an older child's sense of humor.
