5.0 out of 5 stars WOW, December 22, 2008
This review is from: Tales from Serpentia (Audio CD)
It seems I've found another Prog-Metal band that does not sound like everyone else. Tomorrow's Eve reminds me of Nevermore vocally. He has a very distinctive voice. This guy sounds like NO ONE. And I so love that. The music has a very mature feel to it. It is well put together but I feel this album is vocally driven. He does not have your traditional Prog-Metal voice. Again that might bother some people but I like it. He plays with his voice a lot and THAT'S what I find entertaining. If you like Nevermore vocals then this might be up your ally. What an album. I can't wait for the next one. One of my new favorite bands now. I thought singing was dead in metal. It seems it's just hiding within the depths of Metal obscurity. Come to the front please. This album is REALLY good. GET IT, you will not be disappointed Prog-Metal fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars "The first time I took a life was an accident. It was God, you could say...", February 3, 2009
This review is from: Tales from Serpentia (Audio CD)
This is another concept album from Tomorrow's eve, dealing with social problems of individuals, couples, families, showing where it all starts. Very atmospheric, with plenty of awesome samples, that are "witnessing" the lyrics... "The first time I took a life was an accident. It was God, you could say. Second time though, it was different. And it has been ever since..."

I find music very inspiring. The value of this album cannot be discovered the first time you listen to it. It's complex, intelligent and beautiful.

The CD has very cool artwork.

Although their previous album was much more praised by metal media, I find this album a great improvement compared to that one in all segments. This band is making a huge step forward with every new album. I can't wait for the next one. This is my prog metal favorite for 2008.
