Most Helpful Customer Reviews

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful By Dawn on December 6, 2012
This anthology ran the gamut of emotions by tickling my whimsical side, creating heart warming nostalgia, fear, saddness, and indulging in just plain fun. The south Jerseyness of some stories satisfied my taste for and love of home. The various tales with their differing voices and style kept me reading and loving the character, wheather alive, dead or undead. The plethora of situations captured here, from a three legged pony transporting a pint-sized hired gunman to a one legged grandmother caring for her grandchildren, to a naughty Santa and a helpful gargoyle cat, were truly enjoyable reads.
