Sometimes learning requires rote memorization, although repetitive writing drills and lifeless flashcards may leave a student uninspired, to say the least. I bought this product because my 8yr old does not like math. I am always looking for games to try to entice him to practice his addition. This game is easy to learn and is based on dominoes (which he already liked). He was reluctant at first but once he got to playing the first game he declared that he liked it, a lot! He asks to play this game on a regular basis. The cards are only heavy card stock so over time and with use they will become worn or bent but the cost is low so it is worth it.

I do a bit of tutoring out of my home and the kids always want "this" game when asked to pick one near the end of our session. Its a great product. I rated the durability lower because the cards are made of thin cardboard..not much the manufacturer can do about that, seeing as it is a "card" game :-).
