Talisman is an amazing board game. Each player gets to play a different fantasy-type character (Warrior, Wizard, Ghoul, Dwarf, Troll, etc.) traveling around the board collecting weapons and magical artifacts, fighting monsters (and each other) building up your power until you are sufficiently strong to seize the Crown of Command and use it to defeat your enemies and claim the kingdom as your own.

This expansion gives you even more cool characters to play, monsters to fight, spells to use, etc, making the game even more interesting.

Important caveat: this is an expansion (in case the name doesn't give it away) so without the base set, it won't do you much good, but if you do own the basic game and want to get even more out of it, definitely the expansion is for you.
