What would you do if you were an ordinary girl suddenly transported to a world that is completely different form your own? A world of elves, dwarves and fairies as well as human beings? What if your only way home depended on the outcome of a dangerous quest?

This is the situation Ivy Peterson found herself in. Ivy was a "Not Very Brave" and "Less than Ordinary" girl (or so she thought). When she accidentally stumbled into the world of Zandria, she was aided by Arden the wizard and his apprentice Connor as well as others in an adventure that would not only send Ivy back to her world but save the people of Zandria from the rule of an evil sorceress. Through all of this, Ivy discovered just how strong, brave and special she really was.

Norris's style will draw you in from the first page and will lead you through an adventure that readers of all ages will love. Fans of YA fantasy owe it to themselves to read Talisman of Zandria, and it will also be good for those of us "Less than Ordinary" girls who ocassiionally need to be reminded just how extraordinary we can be.

Tailsman Of Zandria by Christine Norris is an original and entertaining fantasy novel showcasing a vivid telling of Ivy Peterson's voyage through the magical and fantastic world of Zandria. As Ivy discovers a fairy and returns for a search, she incessantly falls into Zandria, beginning the wonderful tale of Ivy and her newly made friend's pursuit of an amulet which will enable her return to her own life and world. Tailsman Of Zandria is very highly recommended to all readers of general fantasy-fiction for its engaging telling, fun description, and intuitive mapping of a world only discovered by the imaginations of readers.
