Wonderfully moving, very powerful story,

Purchased this book for my mom after reading copy given to me by a friend. This is just an amazing story that really helps put into perspective not only what the cancer patient is feeling and thinking and wondering about the end of life, but also what her friends are enduring. At one point, the main character wonders how much longer, when will the end come, is today the final day? As we read and feel along with all of the characters we cannot help asking these same questions. I currently work for hospice and I feel this book really helped me gain a better understanding of the families we meet.
