A photogenic family band comprising three sisters and one brother, the Corrs -- vocalist Andrea, drummer Caroline, violinist Sharon and guitarist/keyboard player Jim -- blend the music of their Irish background with contemporary pop/rock elements. The quartet formed in 1991 and enjoyed regional popularity in Ireland until 1994, when the American ambassador to the country… Read more in Amazon's The Corrs Store

5.0 out of 5 stars The best sample of all Corrs' family music legacy., August 6, 2008
By
This review is from: Talk on Corners (Audio CD)
Despite the unjustified criticism and the irrelevant insults written here by a couple of insane chaps, "Talk on Corners" deserves to be flagged as the peak of all The Corrs' career. The highest on both mainstream relevance and creativity, carefully produced and mastered.

Unfortunately the thrill and the tempo of the album goes declining, from the beggining to the end (as their career did as well...) but, no matter how flat are the last few tracks, it still remains a huge success due to the fact that it includes not only their biggest hits ever, but also because those songs which didn't became hits from this album are truly genuine pop gems at the creative level.

A good example of a nice blend between pop and celtic music, for the joy of easy-listening and adult contemporary fans, strongly not recommended for noisy and aggressive scandalous tastes.

By far, the best sample of all Corrs' family music legacy.
