This review is from: Talk Down the Sky (Audio CD)
This is a great CD by three Ohio auto workers. That's right - true garage music froma band tah actually works in a garage for their day jobs. I love the title track, it's a great soulful track recorded with an old dobro. But they almost never play it live cause most of their show is so revved up. They sound like an old vintage guitar band, but they don't sound like they're stuck on a classic rock station. They definitley have some classic rock, and blues influences, but also some newer punk stuff. Kind of like Tom Petty with balls. Actually, I like their second CD a bit more, but it's not here at Amazon.
