4.0 out of 5 stars Very very funny...if you live in Britain, August 7, 2010
This review is from: Talk to the Hand: The Utter Bloody Rudeness of Everyday Life (or Six Good Reasons to Stay Home and Bolt the Door) (Hardcover)
But I have no idea how well this would work for a non-British audience, perhaps there is a non-UK version of this book? I know Truss has received international acclaim for her cantankerous-old-lady-act.

Again, like Eats, Shoots & Leaves, very funny, but sadly too too true...

I recently came across this as an audio recording and thoroughly enjoyed it(Ms Truss read it). I spent some time as a teen living in the UK and assumed they still possessed the wonderful manners I knew then. Alas - the homogenizing of the world has spread bad manners everywhere. It is a shame there seems to be no place to hide from it.
