Talk Like a Dummy--The ABCs of Ventriloquism, by Bob Rumba, is a useful and concise way of learning ventriloquism. Instead of shelling out a lot of hard-earned monetary reward in order to learn the essence of ventriloquism, this easy-to-understand DVD will get you through quite nicely. I agree precisely with Bob regarding what the true "difficult to pronounce" letters are. The rest of the letters, just as for him, were easy for me to get out without lip movement. He does an excellent job with going through, demonstrating, and encouraging the various character accents and dialects that there are to play with; and he does so with a lot of hard earned experience.
This DVD was made without an audience and, as such, its entertainment value is limited. However, there are numerous, subtle tips that are valuable... and this is what such a DVD is all about.

There is many hidden gems of good info on this DVD. No real entertainment value, but why would you buy this DVD then, TO LEARN the art of ventriloquism, not to be entertained. I wanted to mention that his lips did move a lot, not sure if he was trying to demo, or was an accident. All and all it is a good DVD for the basics, but the production value is really low, have fun.
