Natasha has been performing with her ensemble in the Bay Area for 5 years, recently for the Oakland East Bay Symphonys "Collage de Musica" gala benefit at the Oakland Rotunda Building. She is also an accomplished classical violinist and singer-songwriter.
The album is full of hip jazz standards with a kick!

~ Peel Open This CD ~,

Call these tunes standards if you must, but there's nothing standard about the way Miller brings these jazz treasures. Natasha spins sassy funk on "Sugar", "Fever" and opening track "Peel Me a Grape". She's brilliantly expressive on "Good Morning Heartache" and original track "My Sleep". All the way through her vocals are sparkling, soulful, superb. Worked by masterful musicians, the arrangements are classic, yet not even a tiny bit stale. Ultra-hot and über-cool, Natasha's talkin' to ya' nice, and you're missing out if you're not listening.

Norah Jones, move over...,
By Adam Rifkin "ifindkarma" (Palo Alto, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Talk To Me Nice (Audio CD)
Ok, I don't consider myself a "Sultry Jazz Femme Fatale" specialist, but I do like my Diana Krall. And more recently, I have enjoyed my Norah Jones.Well, both Diana's and Norah's compact discs can move over on my shelf, to make room for Natasha Miller. Her voice is pure, her passion is ernest, and her songs are heavenly. This album contains Natasha's renditions of several standards -- standards she makes her own. With a rich tone and a smoky style, I can't get Natasha's versions of "Fever" and "What a Wonderful World" out of my head. The album is inviting and accessible. Every time I put it into my CD player, it's as if Natasha is sitting there in my living room, sipping wine with me. Thanks for an awesome album that keeps me coming back, Natasha!

Natasha's recent release , "I Had a Feelin' -- The Bobby Sharp Songbook" (2004) is soulful and fresh, and reminds me again how much I enjoy her early work. There's always at least one Natasha Miller in my CD player! Keep it comin' Tash!
