really crappy --- don't buy, July 19, 2008
This review is from: Talk Now! Telugu (CD-ROM)
an absolute waste of money. My fiancee speaks Telugu native and she says a lot of words are simply wrong. E.g. they show right as in the direction but use the word for "correct". That in addition to poor pronunciation. the only way they show the words is in Telugu script. so the only way to learn is by listening to poor pronunciation of wrong words. If it wouldn't be so much work I would return the product.

Dissatisfied, March 5, 2008
This review is from: Talk Now! Telugu (CD-ROM)
I've been trying to figure out a good way to learn Telugu for the last few months and my girlfriend's father purchased me the EuroTalk Interactive software. The software itself is lousy, as the CD often takes an inordinately long amount of time to load even simple graphics. And the substance of the software is equally lousy. The speakers mispronounce words and/or speak words in a muddled or incomprehensible way. I gave up using the software after spending two hours learning some basic words (thanks to the slowness of the software) and then hearing from my girlfriend that the words I was learning were not pronounced properly. This software is poorly researched, poorly designed and a waste of money.
