This book is a wonderful resource book for any woman who deals with a man. Don't we all need a few reminders on communication. Kimberly has done a good job or reminding us of the things we need to remember in order to talk to a man. I think they refer to everybody but the men seem to be more difficult to talk to effectively.

The thing most stressed here is plain old good manners and in my opinion, we could all use some reminders about manners. "Your momma didn't raise you in a barn." is what my mother and grandmother would remind me of if my manners were lacking. A potential mate will probably just run fast. Your chances of him sticking around are much improved if you heed Kimberly's advice.

We all need to be reminded to listen and then we will be heard.

Buy this book and improve your communication skills.

For anyone who's been in a relationship for any length of time, you know that the single greatest tool in the relationship toolbelt is communication.

I love the way this author plows head on into the vast differences between men and women and why it's so important for us ladies to learn how to do things like talk to his level, shut up and listen ourselves, and to not overload him with TMI (Too Much Information)!

With a fun and light writing style, this isn't just a book for dating women, but IMO, it's for married women, women with brothers, fathers, sons... basically, any woman with a man of some sort in her life!

This is a series of half-baked blog posts, and they've been strung together by an average writer hell-bent on excusing herself for her brutally honest advice before she gets around to offering up generic common sense.

If you suspect you may be painfully self-absorbed, this will undoubtedly help you remember simple manners, and can serve as a how-to guide for removing your head from your rear end. If you're looking for something that could genuinely assist you with communication, look anywhere else. A Tom Clancy book has better relationship/communication advice.

The book was easily read and full of great tips. I enjoyed it very much because it got me to think about my relationships with guys and how I had to change the way I communicated with men in general. Since then I read two other books about this subject.

Do you find yourself saying: "He just doesn't listen!" Are you frustrated with talking to men who don't seem to comprehend anything you say? Kimberly Courtney has some helpful ideas that will lead to clearer communication. Some of the tips are pretty straightforward. There are reasons you don't want to swear constantly around a man. Do you want him to think you are one of the boys? Then some women tend to be whiney and complain a lot - that is a no no. Also the author explains why men don't like highly critical women. Also a good way to get men to listen to you is to listen to them first. In other words, don't monopolize the conversation. So this book has many good tips and tricks and rules. There are few things as annoying as someone who doesn't listen to you so this is where this book will help you out.

This book summarizes the rules of good conversation. It's a fun guide for all women and young girls. This is no guilt trip book but great tips for not getting angry, sad or frustrated when your man doesn't listen to what you're trying to tell him. Although this book is aimed at couples, we can apply the information to all our relationships.
A quote from the author: "All that stuff is already there in your incredible minds, I'm just helping you bring it out to the forefront of your thought process."
I loved this book and I can only recommend it.

Communicate yourself into trouble with men or even better out of trouble. Learn how to talk to men the better way and get what you want from them.
This book should have been written a long time ago. It is about time it came out! I highly recommend it.

True these are all things we should be aware of, but men and women are different animals and this is just too easy to forget. Great wisdom.
