I purchased my 1st unit about 5 + years ago through Sharper image. We use the unit to wake up every day. The talking part is a hoot! I want another unit for our cottage and was distressed that Sharper image went out of business, I decided to search for another....found it and bought immediately. Could not be happier (We have two) Easy to use and set up. Like the battery backup. Like the contempory design. I recommend this product.

Great product, fast delivery. The voice alarm works wonderfully to get me up and moving in the morning. The volume control for the voice alarm is a helpful feature. The sound quality on the radio could be a bit better, but is definitely satisfactory. The outside temperature monitor was easy to install and provides an accurate outdoor temperature reading on the main unit. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.
