I ordered this thermometer for my dad, who has very limited vision. It came with complete directions and was easy to use. It has three raised function buttons that were easy to explain to my dad. As I tested it, I was very pleased with how quickly and accurately I could take my temperature.Wow, I wish I had owned this thermometer when I was raising my children and waiting five minutes to get each reading when my kids were sick. This one literally gives you a reading in two seconds. TWO SECONDS!! It beeps to tell you it is starting to work and then it plays a few notes of a tune to tell you it is about to read the temperature. The voice that speaks the temperature is clear and easy to understand. I did find I needed to place it firmly in my ear to get an accurate reading, I'm not sure if that would bother a sensitive child-- but again, it only has to stay there for TWO SECONDS. I am confdent this thermometer will help my dad have more independence and needed information when he or mom is sick. |
