Talking to ET's,
By Mark Damkoehler (Milwaukee, WI United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Talking to Extraterrestrials: Communicating with Enlightened Beings (Paperback)
I'm re-reading the book Talking to Extraterrestrials by Lisette Larkins. This is a book that elevated my consciousness just reading it! It's also been one of the 1st times I've read a book where people see it, smile, go "ah-huh" and not comment on it. I actually feel a little self-conscious when certain people see it - they make that immediate judgement upon this subject matter. Others want to read it after hearing my enthusiasm about it. That's just one element about this book. It showed me my own limitations, prejudices around the subject. The elevated & advanced spiritual ideas as well as technology thrilled me. Their comments on cloning, genetics & their limitations with out spiritual considerations, ideas on animals, government etc., were also very enlightening. I liked their examples of changing story lines from good guy vs. bad guy to more inward struggles regarding movies, t.v., etc. While advancing the human potential through genetics can be helpful, what good, they say, is this among a polluted unhealthy environment? They use the idea of creating the perfect rose & putting it in the desert, it can't flourish, it may be the perfect rose, but it has to have a healthy environment to thrive. So do humans. They say Roswell did happen, bodies were found & coverups made. They also say this is just a certain mentality that government can have & not to make a big issue of it. In fact, we make too many issues of so many things! Spend our time creating a better world! There are numerous examples on how to do this utilizing spiritual, creative, moral ideas. Read the book if you are curious. Their ship has no weapons, they live for thousands of years, live in peace & harmony, love, creativity. They want to help us & will, we only need be receptive & open. We may think we are very open-minded, but tell anybody at the dinner table you've talked with aliens, or even read a book about talking to them & see how many rolled eyes, smirks you get. The big questions is, why don't you show youselves? Let the world see you & then we will believe. Their answer is unique. They tried this in the past & it creates too much overwhelm for humans & it has a more negative effect than positive. However when we're really ready, they will show themselves. In the mean time they do communicate with many who are receptive. To find out more you really need to read the book. I've given very little away, there is so much in this book. This is a funny topic; are we ready to start a dialouge around this subject that is serious? This may be the groundbreaking book that helps. Time will tell. Holistic medicine is becoming more accepted, more mainstream & perhaps elevated spiritual ideas will become more mainstream even if they come from, do we dare think, from enlightened alien beings who want to help us, show us other worlds & other species far beyond our imagination? At this writing, there is far from mainstream acceptance, but that may be changing because of this book.

One of the most encouraging and interesting books I've read,
By Avice Chassé (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews

I picked this book up on a whim. I haven't read much on UFOs or aliens, but I've always had frightening dreams about them since I was a child, and I was curious to see what Lisette had to say. I was surprised by this book. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this! Her writing is permeated by a sense of honesty, logic, curiosity, love, intelligence, and openness. By the time I finished reading this book, my conscious and subconscious attitudes towards the "scary aliens" in my dreams had changed. I no longer have alien nightmares, just curious dreams. One of the most interesting things I got out of this book was an increased sense of perspective on our global culture. I try to be a compassionate and tolerant person--lots of us do--but how many of us are willing to strive for these same things with respect to other intelligent species, should we ever meet them? I've always thought that the media portrayal of extraterrestrials is silly, but after reading this book I felt much more aware of how deeply our culture fears the concept of extraterrestrials. If humans are still having serious racism issues, how the hell are we going to be accepting and rational in our encounters with beings from other parts of the universe? To the reviewer who called Lisette "another California Channeler"-- This book has something truly valuable in it for all seekers; you don't have to "believe in aliens" to get something out of it.

Credible story - many parallels,

Lisette Larkins' account has the same ring as Phil Krapf's and Marcia Schafer's. All talk about many species, multi-dimensional realities and love, and all mention similar physiological effects of contact. But Larkins' channeled aliens remind us about the fundamental spiritual bond in all living things; they emphasize our requirement to grow spiritually the responsibility of the (gulp!) 20% of us who have been contacted to form an alliance and pull our collective consciousness out of its mindtraps. The channeled aliens also mention the availability of 'video conferencing' with them using individuals like Larkins. These channeled ETs use many reasonbly good analogies and syllogisms to make their points, as well. They suggest that humans can cause the global contact reasonably soon (I got the sense that it could be in a few years). There are some hints that the technology of interstellar travel is directly related to the level of spiritual development of the individual, and some rather remarkable suggestions concerning diet, nutrition, and multiple incarnations, too. Larkins discusses her techniques, has a rich sense of humor and is another modern 'experiencer' who has come forth in humility, with lots to lose and little to gain...a must read for anyone who wants to stay 'current' in the progress towards global contact.

This book took me by suprise. It is filled with information about grey extraterrestrials who are and wish to be known as enlightened. This is not another paranoid UFO encounter book. This is channelled material from an otherwise normal humble woman who will change many minds as to what the greys are doing here on this planet. They make their thoughts known to us. If you're interested in extraterrestrials, this is a great book.

Lisette hasn't pulled any punches. She has courageously come forward and avowed: I have experienced face-to-face communication with extraterrestrial beings, and here is what they have to say to us. What they have to say is non-threatening, hopeful, and enlightening. This book is less about Lisette's actual experience than it is about giving us a road map to get to where we want to be--as Universal humans, and as a global community. Even if the story isn't true, and I believe that it is, the communication is still a must read for its sheer beauty and power--and its hopeful message for humanity.

This book is very good. She is not trying to sell anything or convince anyone of anything. She just simply gives her side.
She does not really speak that much, in this book as she did in her other books. The ETs pretty much make up this entire book. And this book is the best in the series.

Amazing dialog for the open minded,

This was a wonderful book that shows us that, no matter where the message is coming from, it all seems to the same message. If you read "Conversations with God" or "Love without End", A Course in Miracles" they all pretty much say the same thing, just filtered through different people's perspective that give a slightly different spin on the same message. We are all just one spirit and we can choose our daily outcome based on our attitude, beliefs and intentions. It also parallels the movies "What the Bleep do we Know" and the "Secret". All very inspirational and insightful moving us away from the dualistic nature of formalized religion into the future of consciousness awareness.
The more you take a path down truthfulness the more you will align yourself with what these books are saying. Look also into "The Hidden History of the Human Race" "Forbidden History" internet movies "Zeitgeist the Movie", "Loose Change" and you'll see that what we've been told in the past was not always the truth but a form of control of the masses.

Is it both pompous & absurd to believe we humans on earth are the only intelligent beings in the *entire universe*? What if you had the opportunity to receive stunning perspective about our earthly existence and unconditional love from other intelligent, older beings out there in the expansive universe?
Lisette has that ability and chose to set aside her own life's challenges and share these insights with her readers. Make yourself wise to extra-earthly perspective - you will not be able to put this book down.

Powerful Book.,
This review is from: Talking to Extraterrestrials: Communicating with Enlightened Beings (Paperback)
Talking to Extraterrestrials is a wonderful, powerful book. I just finished reading it for the second time. I read it for the first time several years ago. I was almost embarressed to purchase it because the subject is somewhat taboo. However, once I started reading it, the answers the ETs gave to Lisette's questions range so true. No matter how challenging the question or simple, the answers always suprised me. I would find myself guessing how they would respond, but I was usually wrong. The answers always came from such an elevated state of consciousness that is so solidly grounded in love and peace and no fear that I believe that this book is the real deal and so are the ETs. The second time reading it, its seems to be even more meaningful to me, in light of current world conditions. Strongly recommended. I have sent it two three friends now.

Enlightening Our Path,
This review is from: Talking to Extraterrestrials: Communicating with Enlightened Beings (Paperback)
Recently I had a direct Extra Terrestrial contact. It was peaceful and Illuminating. No fear was involved. Several days later I picked up Lisette's book and read it cover to cover. It all made sense. What the ETs had to say was very practical. I have read Drunvalo Melchizedek's books and practiced his meditations and sacred geometry, read all of Zeccharia Sitchen's marvelous translations of the Sumerian Tablets and knew they were true. His work was verified by Ramtha's Relections on the History of Humanity. I never had an abduction experience that I can recall, but my life, from when I was a child, has been full of paranormal experiences. Why? Because I am very curious. When you ask questions, you get real answers. If you want to know what the ETs have in mind for you, read Lisette's book. We have given our power away to a highly organized, ruthless group of greedy, self serving people who have created perpetual wars and destruction and are now deliberately standing in the way of full contact with our brothers and sisters from many different systems who initially seeded this planet. It makes perfect sense that they are interested in how we are doing and want to help us. Wouldn't you naturally want to help your own progeny, especially if you see them destroying the very platform, Earth, that enables them to live? Wouldn't you prefer to live in a world where all are truly equal, and where free energy is available to all? What is the price for their assistance? Give up hatred, judgment and war.Read the messages in Lisette's book and see if they resonate with you. If they do, ask how you can help. This is truly a great book! It's well written; the messages are clearly stated. And you will definitely feel better for having done so, unless you choose to call yourself a skeptic. What a terrible curse to lay upon yourself to deny the limitless possibilities that are available to all who are open to receive. No one else is creating our reality. |
