I used the concepts in this book for all three of my children, and greatly enjoyed it. Playing with my kids and "floor time" is not my forte as a parent, so the ideas in here for how to cultivate language and how to set up the collections of toys and objects for playing with my children were very helpful.
As far as results, I do not have a large enough sample to really study, but my children are all quite verbal. I don't know if this helped, but it was interesting and if you have a child with language delays, I would strongly recommend it. |
