Product Description

The Wiccan/Pagan Times has been on line since March 1999. Over the years, we have interviewed many of the most notable Authors in the Pagan Community.

Authors mean a lot to the pagan community. We have been referenced as the people of the books, and many will start their path with a book. How the author feels about the pagan community is important, as we like to think that the information in the books are practiced as well as printed.

We have had many memorable interviews we have published over the last 13 years. We have taken 10 of these interviews and put them together with author bios, pictures and weblinks so you can explore the authors further.

Interviewed are Anna Frankin, Dorothy Morrison, Edain McCoy, John Michael Greer, Kristin Madden, M. R. Sellars, Margot Adler, Patricia Telesco, Raymond Buckland and Yasmine Galenorn. Preserved here is a place in time within the pagan community when we were still new, but growing. We feel these interviews convey the flavor and the heart of the pagan community.

5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely walk down memory lane with TWPT!, February 9, 2012
This review is from: TWPT Talks To... 10 Authors of the Pagan Community (Kindle Edition)
When I first started out on my path as a seeking pagan and witch, The Wiccan/Pagan Times was a godsend and the interviews with pagan and Wiccan persons (many now Elders) by both Boudica and Michael Foster was a big part of that experience for me.

In "TWPT Talks to...10 Authors of the Pagan Community", Boudica has collected ten of their most memorable interviews, (although all are valuable and thought provoking and I do hope she publishes more collections of such interviews in the future) and reading them is a true pleasure. These are the conversations I wish I could have had. These are the questions I would ask had I such an opportunity to meet these authors. And Boudica and Michael do so in such a very warm and inviting way. It's as if you were actually able to sit down with each author and have a chat with them over tea and cakes.

Do not let this book pass you by, for in doing so, you would be missing out on a wonderful contribution to our pagan publishing history.

More About the Author

After being a reviewer for so many years, I was asked to write a book. My first presentation is not what I had in mind, but what the publisher had in mind. A spellbook seemed common enough, but the challenge was to make it interesting, more than just a candle of this color, some herbs, spices and some stones. I took that challenge and ran with it, right into a wall. Seems the publisher wasn't too keen on a success spellbook focused on women, and felt I had left out half my audience. Hmmm... really.

I had "21 Spells for Assured Success" published in tree format and it sold in a limited edition. Kindle has opened a door to publish in green format and reach more of an audience than was previously possible.

I have published my "Reiki for Energy Workers" book, a First Level Reiki manual that will help those who have been attuned for First Level but either didn't receive any paperwork or training with their attunement or want to know more than they were given in their brief First Level course. Included are discussions on Energy Work, which is what Reiki is really all about.

I now have "TWPT Talks To..." published in both e-format and in paperback. My fiction book is still in the works.

I am a displaced New Yorker living in the heart of ultra conservative, right wing, fundamentalist christian, republican Ohio. Ummm... I like the challenge? It is quiet, peaceful place in the country, with a husband and 8 cats. All things considered, this is a nice place to live with lots of nature at its most beautiful. It inspires even as it calms.

I am pagan, witch to be exact, but that does not mean I am exclusive of any other belief system. I have lived in a city where all religions are represented in mass quantities and have learned to get along with them all. And they all have their mystical side, even though some will never admit it!

Thank you for taking the time to acquaint yourself with me. I look forward to hearing from all my fans.
