I love this collection...it is layed out nicely and pictures are adorable. I went into a 'brick and mortar' store to find the perfect "Mother Goose"...I almost bought "THe Real Mother Goose" online (I think is the title)...but in person it was horrible, the layout of the other book made me dizzy...too many poems on a page, weird font and spacing...

So this book is simple...one page per poem (or two for a long one), all in color, and the size of the book is narrow so if fits in my bag nicely. It is very colorful and fun to read and my 3 and 6 year old LOVE it. It is not the sanitized...rewritten Mother Goose (which I love).

I really spent too much time looking for a good Mother Goose book...so I had to share that I am very happy with my final selection!!!

The book is okay, the stories are really short, and the drawings aren't that great.

It is a very narrow book - tall in length, small in width. Cover looks exactly as shown in picture.

Arrived within a week with Free Super Saving Shipping. Arrived new, nothing was damaged during shipping.

In my opinion, this is the best Mother Goose book around thanks to the wonderful illustrations. It's already an enduring classic, and I am pleased that it is a permanent fixture in our child's library.

I think every child should have a copy of the Tall Book of Mother Goose. I'm sorry it no longer has the Rojankovsy drawings, but it's still a great book to start children off on the adventures they will find in words and pictures.

I was hoping that the re-issue involved the original illustrations and all of the poetry. Oh well, my granddaughter doesn't know what she's missing.
