although lori copeland is known as a writer of christian fiction and i liked her faith, hope, & charity books, this must be one of her earlier novels written before she was a christian. it is full of sex and bad language. i picked it up as my local library and was not pleased with it.

I picked up this book because Lori Copeland is a well-known Christian fiction writer who writes good novels. I was surprised that the book definitely was not Christian fiction, then I looked at the original copyright date and realized why. It was originally published in 1990. For some odd reason, the publisher probably wanted to profit from Copeland's reputation as a writer and re-published her work from 30 years ago.

I didn't have the heart to give it less than three stars because she still is a great story-writer, I doubt it was her decision to publish this particular work again.
