From Library Journal
Talleur, an expert fly fisher, offers this brief guide to fishing (not tying) dry flies. The book is handy and compact, and can adequately cover the topic for small libraries, or constitute a nice backup for medium-sized collections. Dry flies are the aristocrats of fly fishing, but have received somewhat less generic attention from writers in the past 20 years than their underwater counterparts. Talleur does not overwhelm the reader with research or entomological detail but covers most of the necessary topics with concise, informative clarity. Recommended.
