THIS BOOK IS OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN BY SOMEONE, WHO ONLY CASUALLY KNEW TALLULAH BANKHEAD, AND NEEDED TO MAKE SOME MONEY BY WRITING THIS MOSTLY FALSE ACCOUNT OF HER LIFE. SOME OF THE INFORMATION AND CIRCUMSTANCES MAY HAVE SOME DEGREE OF TRUTHFULNESS TO THEM, BUT MOST PROBABLY MADE UP BY THE AUTHOR TO MAKE THE STORY MORE INTERESTING. IT BECOMES OBVIOUS DURING THE READING OF THE BOOK, THAT THE AUTHOR IS MORE INTENT ON CONVINCING THE READER OF HIS CLOSE ASSOCIATION WITH TALLULAH BANKHEAD, WHEN IN FACT THE OPPOSITE WOULD BE THE CASE. SUCH HAS HAPPENED TO GRETA GARBO, AND MANY OTHER NOTABLE ENTERTAINERS. SAD THAT AUTHORS GET AWAY WITH THE WRITING OF BOOKS SUCH AS THIS ONE, BUT IT PROBABLY HELPS TO FATTEN THEIR POCKETBOOKS AT THE INITIAL TIME OF PUBLICATION.
