Truth or not, what is the message?,
By
This review is from: The Talmud of Jmmanuel: The Clear Translation in English and German (Paperback)
Regardless of its origin, what is the message behind the scripture? Is it written in good intention?
I find the talmud inspirational with lessons I can apply in my own life, regardless of who wrote them or how. I don' know if Mathew's scriptures were written by him or if they were altered. I have no clue if Rashid and Meier actually found anything. All I have is what is in front of me. I draw my own conclusions. I wish you will find your own answers.

Be Prepared to Rethink All of Your Concepts of Jesus!,

This review is from: The Talmud of Jmmanuel: The Clear Translation in English and German (Paperback)
One of the most powerful religious statements of the Modern Era, this book "The Talmud Jmmanuel" represents the translation of ancient texts that were hidden for nearly 2,000 years. The complete translations will never be available, because Isa Rashid was murdered before he could complete them. This translation (which resembles in many places the Book of Matthew from the Bible) will seem to you to be either the biggest piece of blasphemous garbage ever conceived, or it will represent the most thought-provoking delineation available of what might have happened, or what Jesus was really trying to say in his day. If you've ever thought that the original intent of the New Testament had been tampered with, then this book will be of tremendous interest to you. However, if your mind cannot conceive that Mary was not a Virgin (she was impregnated by the Celestial Son, Gabriel); that Jesus did not die on the cross, (he was near-death and nursed to health by Eastern Indian healers in the tomb); that he knew his life and teachings would be distorted for centuries to come; and that after the crucifixion he actually traveled to India, where he lived to be more than 100 years old, had a wife and children, and was buried near Kashmir - then leave this book alone. This book is extremely thought-provoking, but obviously not for everyone. Must reading for all spirit-seekers with an open mind!

Deep space anti-semitism,
By Ashtar Command "Seeker" (Stockholm, Sweden) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Talmud of Jmmanuel: The Clear Translation in English and German (Paperback)
"The Talmud of Jmmanuel" is a translation of a sensational ancient manuscript revealing the true teachings of Jesus Christ, whose real name was Jmmanuel. The manuscript was smuggled out of Israel by a Greek Catholic priest named Isa Rashid, who was eventually murdered by the Mossad in Baghdad, after the IDF failed to do so on an earlier occasion in Lebanon. However, Rashid (whose first name means "Jesus", by the way) managed to send 36 chapters of the text to Billy Meier in Switzerland, who published a German translation and now fears for his life. Both churches, governments and the ubiquitous Jews want to assassinate him, and suppress the precious truths contained in this original gospel.
Or? Well, no. Not really. In reality, "The Talmud of Jmmanuel" is a hoax. Nobody has ever seen the original scrolls, there is no evidence that Isa Rashid ever existed, and Billy Meier is a notorious UFO contactee, who claims to be on a first name basis with a group of highly evolved extraterrestrials from the Pleiades, including a blonde alien bombshell named Semjase. I wonder whether Meier even understands Aramaic! "The Talmud of Jmmanuel" was obviously written by Meier himself. In a sense, it was a master stroke. Most other contactees have been quietly forgotten, but if you write a phoney gospel and lay claim to the mantle of Jesus, there is always somebody who is taken in. To a sceptic, the publication of Meier's "gospel" must have been the most obvious piece of evidence that he was a fraud. Ironically, it may also have been one of the main reasons for his enduring success! "The Talmud of Jmmanuel" is similar in many ways to other modern, alternative versions of the life of Jesus. Jesus travels to India both in his youth and after the resurrection, and eventually dies in Srinagar in Kashmir. (This is a conflation of Notovitch and the Ahmadiyya.) The Essenes are involved, and the teachings of Jesus sound Gnostic. He has come to impart knowledge to humanity, rather than to atone for our sins. Part of the knowledge is that the divine is impersonal, and follows immutable laws of nature. Meier calls it Creation. I suppose a Hindu would call it Brahman. In Meier's version, Jesus also teaches reincarnation. I wouldn't be too surprised if the author studied Levi Dowling's "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ". Another Gnostic slant is the constant reversal of Biblical motives. In the Bible, Judas Iscariot is evil and betrays Jesus, but in Meier's story, Judas is the hero and the actual author of "The Talmud". Instead, Jesus is betrayed by one Juda Ihariot. The apostle Paul is one of the bad guys. One of the enlightened and luminous space aliens is named Semjasa, a name based on Semyaz, the leader of the fallen angels in the Book of Enoch (still included in Ethiopian Bibles and not unknown among Biblical scholars). Since "The Talmud" is connected to Meier's supposed contacts with aliens, there is a definitive UFO slant to his book. Jesus is the result of a sexual relationship between Mary and the angel Gabriel, who turns out to be an alien from the Pleiades! Indeed, Adam and all white people are said to be descended from Semjasa, apparently the leader of the aliens. The exact relationship between Samjasa and Meier's blonde contact Semjase isn't explained. Jesus mentions UFOs both during the trial in front of the Sanhedrin, and when brought before Pilate. Other parts of the message are presumably more original to Meier. The book is heavily anti-Semitic. The children of Israel are threatened with persecution, massacres and death in general. Apparently, they never were God's chosen people to begin with, and Jesus doesn't call himself "king of the Jews". One garbled passage makes a distinction between Israelis and Jews. Did Meier have the Khazar theory on his mind when writing it? Anti-Semitism, it seems, isn't confined to planet Earth. Other parts of the work makes you wonder what kind of person Meier is on a purely personal level. Jesus threatens homosexual men with castration or sterilization. However, lesbian relations are apparently alright?! Adulterers should also be castrated and sterilized. Meier has also rewritten the Sermon on the Mount to make it sound more normal and "logical", making you wonder what exactly the masses gasped at in Jesus' teachings. Finally, "The Talmud" contains various mistakes and anachronisms. Herod the Great is confused or conflated with Herod Antipas. The rather obvious references to the modern Middle East conflict are anachronistic - the Israelites are even called Israelis! The name "Jmmanuel" is incomprehensible. The apostle Matthew is said to have been illiterate (in reality, Roman-employed tax collectors could read and write). And so on. Typically, even Billy Meier's private religion has its heretics. This is the one and only true edition of "The Talmud of Jmmanuel". It seems Meier's idea has been stolen by others, who have published revised versions of the book, complete with new messages from the aliens! Being a seer, prophet and revelator (or just an editor) has its perils. "The Talmud of Jmmanuel" didn't impress me. It lacks the new agey, spiritual feel of Levi's gospel. Jesus' travels in India are mentioned only in passing, so there is little excitement. Nor does it contain much information on UFOs, despite being written by a contactee. But above all, it's a work of noxious anti-Semitism and Jew-baiting, complete with a streak of homophobia. Even as a religious work, it merits a one-star review at best.

True teachings of Jmmanuel,
By JM (Finland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Talmud of Jmmanuel: The Clear Translation in English and German (Paperback)
There are many facts that prove this text to be the true teachings of a man named Jmmanuel (later falsely named "Jesus Christ"). This text is full of logic in wisdom and truth.
For me, this is a very useful text, and proves that religions are full of false doctrines and rubbish.

The Talmud of Jmmanuel (TJ) and the Book of Matthew (BOM) are essentially the same book ... the claim is that the BOM is an edited version of the TJ and that the author of the BOM removed and rewrote various verses, essentially changing some key truths about Jesus' teachings. So the questions are: 1) is the TJ authentic and 2) was the TJ written before the BOM?
To anyone interested in knowing if the TJ is in fact authentic and if it was written before the BOM, visit www.tjresearch.info and review the detailed verse-by-verse analysis that compares each verse of the TJ to the BOM. The researcher of that web site is Professor Jim Deardorff and he does a brilliant job of applying pre-existing criticisms and commentary of the BOM by various religious scholars (including Francis Beare) to both books in order to see which came first and to see if the same criticisms applied to the TJ. Prof. Deardorff did not write the criticisms himself, as claimed by some skeptics/critics. Most people don't realize that religious scholars have serious questions about many verses in the Book of Matthew -- some BOM verses have been identified to be redactions, some were identified to be inserted at a later time, and some BOM verses make no sense in the context of the writings themselves (which explains why so much interpretation is required). Furthermore, the various BOM verses identified to be problematic are not easy to "fix" by simply re-writing the verse or tweaking a word here and there. Perhaps a hoaxer could change a few verses, however, 300+ criticisms of the Book of Matthew do not apply to the TJ, which makes the mathematical probability of a hoaxer creating the TJ virtually zero. Unfortunately, many of the negative reviews fail to mention that this level of detailed analysis does exist, and instead these reviewers seem to have become offended by a few of the verses in the TJ. Some verses in the TJ are stunning to say the least. The TJ is a powerful book that deserves serious attention but don't take my word for it, i recommend that you research all this yourself and make up your own mind. "Celestial Teachings: The Emergence of the True Testament of Jmmanuel" is the other book i recommend, which is essentially the contents of the tjresearch web site in book form. Good luck.

This book changed my life and it will change yours as well! Learn the truth about Jesus. Where did he come from, how did he die, where did he go for years as a young boy. A must read to lern the truth and how religions have turned everything around for thier own benefit. Yes, other reviews say, prove this and prove that, well, go and disprove it.
Read the book and make up your own mind. The time has come for the truth to be told. To learn more, check out Youtube under 'Talmud Jmmanuel' and view the videos.

Question the truth and think for yourself.,
By
This review is from: The Talmud of Jmmanuel: The Clear Translation in English and German (Paperback)
This book will make you think again about what you have been thought. This book is very controversial to any very religious person who believes the King James version bible to be absolute truth. For anyone who is strictly religious, this is not the book for you. Most strict Christians I know upon learning the original author would not give this book even a glance much less read it. This book invokes deep thought about what you have been taught and read. Putting religion aside I have read this book through several times and personally find greater real truth in it than King James version bible, however I have always been very open minded. One should think deeply about what actually is the truth for themselves and look into this book with an open mind.
Without thinking for ones self and living a life not questioning what you have been taught or what is held to be fact or truth cannot truly yield great freedom. When you think and search through what has been given as truth, often it is found that many things are not really what you thought that they were and many truths are actually in fact not. So I ask you what do you really seek, what is held as truth and fact, or real truth and knowledge. This book gives you another view of what was or could have happened. As history has shown, the writing of history is the revision of history for the convenience of the ones in power and control. Aside from what is truth or fact this book presents a very different tale of the New Testament and a different name (Jmmanuel, pronounced Immanuel and means "The one with godly knowledge") to the one many know as Jesus Christ (which means "The Anointed One"). So if you have an open mind and are looking for another possibility and/or the truth, look into this book and decide for yourself by your own thinking what the truth is. I personally give this book five stars and find a lot of truth in it. It presents a very good read for anyone interested in history whatever the truth is. If anything else you could learn German by comparing the passages, as all of the chapters are side by side German and English.

To study bible objectively from the historical point of view,
This review is from: The Talmud of Jmmanuel: The Clear Translation in English and German (Paperback)
If one studies bible from the matter-of-fact point of view, this book probably is the most accurate version of the new testament. All the citations and Jesus' action make sense according to the history and culture of that time. The probabilities of achieving such historical accuracy with mere two people would be impossible. It would take many people's decades of dedication of bible, cultural, history study to achieve such accuracy. General public do not have the access to the direct evidence which can prove the authenticity of this book, but indirect evidences are enough to show that how this book can be the true new testament if it ever existed.

Eye Opening Book,

This review is from: The Talmud of Jmmanuel: The Clear Translation in English and German (Paperback)
Who was Jmmanuel, was he the man known today as Jesus? Was there a connection to Ancient Extraterrestrials? These questions are addressed in this clear German/English translation from the original 2,000 year-old Aramaic scrolls discovered in a burial cave. Even in the Bible they called him Jmmanuel. Isaiah 7.14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Imman'u-el." Matthew 1. 23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." I highly reccommend this book for the open minded. I would also recommend reading Celestial Teachings: The Emergence of the True Testament of Jmmanuel, by Dr. James W. Deardorff. |
