I have used this product for over three years here outside Colorado Springs. I spray the barn/house exterior with it twice a year. Our three main insect pests here are flies/moths/ & wasps. I originally (foolishly) had Orkin spray for the wasps. Their spraying worked and cost $$. When the guy was walking around the house I looked at the bottle he had used, Talstar-1, the former name of this product.

I looked it up online and bought a quart myself and have been using it in my hand-pump sprayer ever since. Like the other reviewer commented about his stink bugs, I kill so many flies/moths & wasps I use the shop vac to clean them. literally thousands. This is a cattle ranching area and flies are to be expected, just not an invasion. In the spring we get the Miller moths that are migrating from Kansas to the Rockies, so for about 2-3 weeks they are a pest, but then are gone as quickly as they appeared. The wasps arrive in September and only leave when it turns cold. So, I needed a spray that would last, month after month, and this is it. It appears to resist rain, and we get major T-storms here. It even lasts year to year, as I see major insect kill off before I do the first yearly spray, telling me that last years spray is still killing.

Once dry, which is quick, it is safe around pets/livestock. Use a mask when you spray, not a white paper type, one with cartridges, gloves, log sleeve shirt, long pants and shoes/socks. Spray on a calm day. I also mix a small hand held spray bottle for applying to window sills, and door thresholds.

It is available at other outlets, but Amazon has the best price by far. Its very potent the 3/4 gallon bottle will mix close to 20 gallons of spray.

The back of my house was a war zone. I moved here 1 year and six months ago with my loyal dog-in-paws, Mikey. The situation early on was manageable. When the cobwebs got one too many, or the flying pests were pestering too much I would spray some ortho here and there. Mikey would help on clean up duty, sweeping up the remainder of scattering earwigs with his mighty tongue. This went on for months, insecticide usually made an appearance at the bottom of my shopping lists once every few weeks. The enemy were at war with one another, I simply played the role of supervisor, sterilizing the battlefield after extended tours of combat, not letting it escalate. Everything was under control. Until IT happened.

Seemingly overnight the tables were turned. I'll remember the event vividly until I die. I opened the door and walked into numerous, well-made webs with HUGE arachnids on them. These guys must have been alive for months, training for this day. Caught off-guard, I started swiping and stumbled my way out of the back door into more spider webs. I tripped over and landed in bushes CRAWLING WITH TICKS, ANTS AND EARWIGS. Only one thought was in my head now: "ITS AN AM-BUSH." They instantly crawled onto me and invaded my hair. Instantly I got up and ran into the shower scratching my hair and clawing at my skin like a schizo. The enemy began working together. At night, they kept me from enjoying the back yard with air attacks. During the day cobwebs were laid out like boobie traps with giant 8-legged freaks waiting for one wrong step. Getting to my car was like stealing the mona lisa from a museum.

I went to Lowe's and bought every insecticide possible. The bill was over $150. Begin, OPERATION: INSECT MASSACRE. I went ham sandwich on the back wall of my house.

After 2 years of having stinkbugs EVERYWHERE inside & outside at our home and invading our camper, we knew we didn't want to go through that again. After hearing from several people and knowing this is what our Ehrlich guy uses, we decided to get some ourselves. My husband sprayed EVERYWHERE - along the gutters, roofline, doorways, windows, you name it. After only 2 treatments (2oz. which leaves us with 94oz.!!!), it has cut down incredibly on the amount we had at our home and in our camper. We will use it earlier next year to cut down on them even more. Would recommend to anyone. And don't buy through hardware stores, too overpriced. Buy from Amazon!!!

After having a pest service for years I decided to try the spraying myself. This product is the same chemical and strength that my service used. Simply put it has stopped all bugs and spiders in their tracks. We used to have an abundance of both living in a rural location. I spray on a 30 to 45 day cycle, but the instruction manual that comes with the product indicates the application is good for 90 days. The material is suitable for indoor application, but I just use it in a protection band on the exterior. I am amazed at the number of dead cockroaches I stop on the outside, but none get inside and NO MORE BLACK WIDOWS. It gets them all!

Now for the math. My service was costing me $66/Mo. for 2 homes times the required 10 Months of the year (they allowed 2 months vacation skip). That comes to $660 for the year. Now I spray the two homes on my property and my son's home down the street and don't quite use all the 3/4 gal container in 1 1/2 years. If I had all 3 homes treated commercially the cost would have been $990/yr. My cost was $45 using the product myself.

This material is EFFECTIVE on crawling bugs and I highly recommend it.
