I got 2 of these for me and my wife. they are excellent , if you don't like the new format of musical tamagotchi then these are for you. However they seem to be more for use with 2 + people because you can "visit" each other by means of a IR transmitter. overall great product was very happy with them and I would recommend this product to any of the first generation tamagotchi fans who don't like all the bells and whistles of the new model
