This is my 9 yr.-old son's second Tomagotchi. His feedback is that the new version has brought back some of the better features of the older versions with improved connection features. He's enoying the new one.

Overall the version 4.5 is better than version 5 because version 5
does not have as much fun things to do and is a little too complicated
which makes you lose interest in the games. I like my tiger stripes
version 4.5 because it is in the colours of my football team and makes me
want to play with it more.

When I first opened it up, most of the screen was glitchy, but after a couple hours it went back to normal. I really love Tamagotchi and if you do too, then you should get one.
