when I got this toy I didn't expect it to be much different from version 3. It's completly different! For one thing there is no light icon, instead there is mail. There is the the fortune (star) mail. There is the envelope icon. Sometimes it is something from the king, sometimes poops or snakes or sometimes a weird looking robber! The last kind of mail delivers a trip to school. I always get robbers in the mail! This toy is so good! Currently, I have 9 tamagotchis. If you already own one and want some free items here's how to get them:

I ordered this Tamagotchi for my granddaughter for Valentine's day. She had been looking for the V4 one in the stores for weeks and they were sold out. She was VERY excited to have received this and it's a hit!

I thought this toy was like amazing. Being able to really do cool stuff on your tamagotchi v4. I was a very lucky girl to have found this after Christmas (I live in the U.K) when I went back to school all my friends were showing there new tamagotchi v3 (lots are totally different e.g bigger areil, being able to go to school and work) They looked real happy then I showed them my tamagotchi v4 they were gobsmacked! I think that this toy is amazing and really shows the real important thing of this being able to look after things. I am true tamagotchi gamer being on my 7th genartion so far. I hope this is some use for you!

I purchased the Tamagotchi V4 for a friend of my daughter - she loved it and it came in perfect condition. Thanks for offering a great product!

Don't know how durable,educational or fun this toy is. It is what granddaughter asked to receive for Christmas

Like the Plumeria Flower toy, this cool little toy is my daughter's favorite toy. She is having fun, learning some responsibilities, playing with her cousin and best of all she loves this toy. It works for my wife and I but most importantly my daughter loves it.

tamagotchis are really cool because you get to play games to make your tamagotchi happy. You also can feed it when its hungry. With gotchi pionts you can buy food and other things for your tamagothchi. When your tamagotchi dies a new egg will appear! I think this item teaches responsibility. Oh, i almost forgot, it you forget about or neglect your tamgotchi it will die!

I brought two tomagotchi V4 for my two daughters as Christmas gift, they loved the little thing very much and spend a lot of time taking care their little pet.
One tamagochi worked perfectly well but the other one "hung" twice: the little pet completely disappears, like running out of battery. I have to reset it and then it will start over again from "egg hatching", with no memory of pervious character. My 8 year old cried when this happens ! Overall it is a great toy but do need more quality control.

I own this Tamagotchi V4 Pink Stripes, and it's great, a lot cooler than Version 1, my only other Tamagotchi. It's interesting, and very cute, but the graphics could be a little better for [...], and I only play with it for 5-10 minutes at a time, so I'd much rather be playing with my Pixel Chix. This is a toy definitely not for kids under 8---I got one when I was six, and it confused me. 8-10 is a good age range for this toy. But again, I'd rather play Sims.

Tamagotchis are awesome! When I was first introduced to Tamagotchi, I wasn't very interested in it until my friend borrowed one from a classmate. She played Jump-Rope over and over and over and over and - well, you get my point. She loved it! After watching her play it over and over and over, well, I got interested. "I wonder how she got glued to that little video game thing. I'd better find out." I thought. So when I was at Wal-Mart with my mom and brother, I selected 2 Tamagotchis from the toy section. After I played with it for a while, I thought, "These are really cool! On Monday I will tell my friend I have one." Before we got one, my mom said my brother could have too. "What?! No way! Those are for girls!" he said. But when he played... "Where's my Tamagotchi? Can I play with it PLEASE??? Dad, do you what's cool about Tamagotchi?" was all I heard from him. He never consentrated on his homework! I especially like the Infra-Red Communication!
