I'm allergic to pet dander, so I think this toy is a great option to take as a pet, though not real which is obvious. However, it teaches to take care and relate to something. Kids like to have something to take care of, if you can't have a pet at home because of allergies, cleaning, you can avoid hassle with this "virtual" pet.
